Description

Explore the wonders of the Peninsula on our Electric Bike Cape Peninsula tour - from the pristine white beaches, the penguin colony, breath-taking mountains, to the spectacular sight of Cape Point. This will be your easiest yet most rewarding bicycle ride as you don’t need to be fit to enjoy it !

Itinerary

Once you get to to your starting point in the Cape Point Nature Reserve and after a short safety briefing, you will start riding South to the Cape of Good Hope, a world-renowned landmark, and monuments in honour of two of the world's most famous explorers - Vasco da Gama and Bartolomeu Dias. On your way, observe over 250 species of birdlife, baboons, ostriches, bucks and the Cape Mountain Zebra. You will then head to Cape Point where you will get off your bike to get to the light-house, have some leisure time and eventually lunch at the local restaurant (lunch not included). Once you’ve made the most of Cape Point, you will ride your bike back north where you started and get back in the vehicle for the last attraction of the day.

In option, visit the penguins in Boulders Beach in the charming coastal town of Simon’s Town. You will be able to observe them coming back from the ocean, basking on the beach or just resting in their nest from a non-intrusive platform above the floor so no penguin is bothered.

Drive through the surf town of Muizenberg and the beautiful suburb of Constantia before your driver leads you to your hotel.

March, 2019

We booked two tours with this company out of Johannesburg. Our guides were Christian and Vincent and they did an outstanding job covering the history of South Africa. Both were very pleasant, met us on time and went out of their way to make us comfortable. I would not hesitate to book with them.

March, 2019

We booked the half day boat eco tour out of Cape Town.
We had a fantastic trip seeing Cape Fur Seals, Dolphins, Penguins, Sun fish and even though it was early in the season we saw Southern Right Whales.
The skipper was great and very knowledgeable.
I would recommend this tour to anyone.

January, 2019

My partner and I booked a half day tour of Johannesburg and Soweto prior to our flight home. We were lucky to be allocated Pascal as our guide. He was brilliant. He had a detailed knowledge of the city and all sites that we visited, as well as being friendly, engaging, punctual and safety conscious. We were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend.

No issues with these folk. African Eagle offers day Tours on short notice and always do their best to provide amenities not offered by other operators. Passionate owners, personally involved in the business. They also have the largest fleet of vehicles and often carries the overflow work of other companies. Scheduled and private Tours.
